*German, WW2, dated 1940, Hitler Jugend Dagger and Scabbard, by W.K.C. (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co.) Small dagger with a beaked pommel, Bakelite chequered grip with two smooth dressed rivet heads with a diamond-shaped enameled swastika on red and white. Marked on raised ricasso with “RZM: M7/42 over 1940”. M7/42 is the German wartime code for daggers by W.K.C. (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co.) Waffenfabrik, Solingen-Wald. This knife is consistent with Hitler Youth Daggers of the later period (1938-42) – thicker blade, higher ricasso, RZM designation, no motto, and large diamond inlay approx: 25mmx15.5mm. The dagger comes in its original metal scabbard with a leather belt strap. Guaranteed Original Item in good condition.
